Windshield Wiper Arms, Adjusting

Special tools and workshop equipment required

Procedure

-- Let the wiper return to its park position and then switch off the ignition.

-- Now adjust the wiper arms.

Driver Side

The distance -a- between the wiper lip tip and the upper edge of the plenum chamber cover must be 30 mm.

-- If necessary, adjust the windshield wiper blade park position by repositioning the windshield wiper arm.

Front Passenger Side

Distance -b- between the tips of the wiper lips and the upper edge of the plenum chamber cover must be 25 mm.

-- If necessary, adjust the windshield wiper blade park position by repositioning the windshield wiper arm.
