NOTE:

Tight battery terminal clamps assure trouble-free battery function and long service life.

Make sure the terminal clamp is attached completely to the battery terminal.

WARNING:

If the battery terminal clamp is not attached securely to the positive terminal, disconnect the battery ground cable from the battery negative terminal first to prevent any accidents.

-- Check the battery bracket -1- for a secure fit.

-- If necessary, retighten the bracket bolt -2- to the tightening specification.

-- Open or remove the battery positive terminal cover -3-.

-- If equipped, open or remove the battery negative terminal cover -4-.

-- Check the battery terminal clamps -1 and 5- for a secure fit. If necessary, tighten the nuts -2 an 6-.

-- Close or attach the battery terminal covers -3 and 4-.

Tightening Specification	Nm
Nut on battery terminal	6
Bolt to bracket	15

After Connecting The Battery, Perform The Following:
