Selector Lever Handle, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Using both hands, reach into the shift lever boot on the right and left sides in direction of -arrows- and unclip the shift cover -1- by pulling it upward.

-- Release and disconnect the connector from the selector lever handle.

-- Cut the clip -arrow- under the boot using a side cutter.

Remove the handle upward without pressing the button -arrow-. The button locks in the installation position by itself when the handle is removed.

NOTE:

Do not push the button once the handle has been removed otherwise it will not be possible to remove the handle again.
