Overview - Shift Unit

  1. Shift Unit
    • Consisting of the selector shaft and the gearshift cover
    • The components cannot be separated from each other
  2. Back-Up Lamp Switch -F4-
    • 20 Nm
    • Coat the tab lightly with MoS 2 grease.
  3. Locking Elbow
    • For adjusting the shift mechanism
    • Removing. Refer to Figure.
    • Installing. Refer to Figure.
  4. Relay Lever
    • Installation position. Refer to Figure.
  5. Clip
    • Secures the relay lever in the gearshift cover
  6. Gearshift Shaft Seal
  7. Nut
    • 23 Nm
    • Replace after removing
    • Self-locking
  8. Shift Lever
    • Installing. Refer to Figure.
  9. Cap
    • For the transmission ventilation
  10. Cap
  11. Spring
    • Not installed on all transmissions
    • Install if present
