Selector Lever Handle, Removing And Installing: Removing

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.

-- Move the selector lever into "D" position.

-- Using both hands, reach into the shift lever boot on the right and left sides in direction of -arrows- and unclip the shift cover -1- by pulling it upward.

-- Release and disconnect the connector.

-- Cut the clip -arrow- under the selector lever boot using a side cutter.

Remove the handle upward without pressing the button -arrow-. The button locks in the installation position by itself when the handle is removed.

CAUTION:

Risk of damaging the selector mechanism by incorrectly installing the selector lever.

- Do not press the locking button on the selector lever handle.
