Transmission Mount, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in reverse order of removal and note the following:

NOTE:

Replace the bolts that were tightened with an additional turn.

The transmission support and the transmission support arm must be absolutely parallel to each other before installing the bolts. Push the rear of the transmission upward using a floor jack if necessary.

-- Secure the transmission support to the longitudinal member.

-- Lift the transmission using the engine support bridge spindle until the transmission support touches the support arm.

-- Position the bolts by hand. While doing so, make sure that the bolts are not installed crooked.

-- Check the adjustment of the subframe mount. Refer to ASSEMBLY MOUNT, CHECKING ADJUSTMENT .

-- When the bolts are tightened to the tightening specification, remove the : 10-222A  from the engine.
