Reducing Agent Tank, Filling

NOTE:

Make sure that the vehicle is pay attention to and the ignition is switched off.

Pay attention to the :VAS6960  service/repair/system information.

Only use distilled water to clean AdBlue® /DEF components. Do not use tap water.

-- Turn off the ignition.

The reducing agent filler neck is in the luggage compartment on the right side.

-- Remove the cover -1-.

-- Remove the fuel filler cap -1- from the fuel tank filler neck.

-- Clean the reducing agent tank filler neck with a lint-free cotton cloth soaked in water.

-- Guide the nozzle from the :VAS6960  in the reducing agent tank filler neck and start the refilling procedure.

NOTE:

The nozzle from the :VAS6960  switches off automatically when the maximum fill level is reached.

-- Remove the nozzle.

-- Install the fuel filler cap -1- for the fuel tank filler neck until it audibly engages.
