Mounting Bracket, Removing And Installing: Removing

NOTE:

The following describes the removal and installation of the left mounting bracket. The right side is identical.

-- Remove the front door trim panel. Refer to FRONT DOOR TRIM PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Depending on the version, remove the cap for or without the lock cylinder (refer to DOOR HANDLE CAP, REMOVING AND INSTALLING ) and the lock cylinder (refer to LOCK CYLINDER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING ).

-- Remove the door handle. Refer to DOOR HANDLE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the door inner cover. Refer to DOOR INNER COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the door handle. Refer to DOOR HANDLE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the bolt -4-.

-- Remove the mounting bracket -1- from the door.

Cable, Loosening 

-- Pivot the retainer -3- slightly in direction of -arrow a-.

-- Remove the cable pin -2- out of the mount.
