Rearview Camera -R189-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING

The Rearview Camera -R189- is integrated inside the rear lid handle button. The Rearview Camera -R189- and the handle button cannot be separated. In the damage claim the entire handle button with rearview camera must be replaced.
-- Removing and installing the rear lid handle button. Refer to ACTUATOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING (MECHANISM) .
- If the vehicle is configured with PR + KA1 the rearview camera system does not have to be calibrated after removing and installing the Rearview Camera -R189-, because the calibration of the rearview camera system automatically takes place.
- If the vehicle is configured with PR + KA2 the rearview camera system must be calibrated after removing and installing the Rearview Camera -R189-. Refer to REARVIEW CAMERA SYSTEM, CALIBRATING .
