WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2021 Volkswagen Tiguan, 2020 Volkswagen Tiguan, 2019 Volkswagen Tiguan, 2018 Volkswagen Tiguan Limited, and 2018 Volkswagen Tiguan. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
NOTE:

For A/C systems with refrigerant R1234yf, the desiccant bag/dryer cartridge must be replaced each time the refrigerant circuit is opened. Refer to COMPONENTS, REPLACING .

Under certain conditions, the desiccant bag no longer needs to be replaced each time the refrigerant circuit is opened on A/C systems with refrigerant R134a. Refer to Components, Replacing .

  2. Refrigerant Line
    • To the condenser
  3. Refrigerant Line - High Pressure Side
    • To the refrigerant line with the inner heat exchanger
  4. High Pressure Side Service Connection
  5. Refrigerant Line - Low Pressure Side
  6. Refrigerant Circuit Pressure Sensor -G805-
  7. Low Pressure Side Service Connection
  8. Refrigerant Line with Inner Heat Exchanger
    • In the inner heat exchanger, warm liquid refrigerant flowing on the high pressure side delivers energy to the cold vaporous refrigerant flowing on the low pressure side. This increases the efficiency of the A/C system.
    • From the condenser and A/C compressor
    • Removing and Installing. Refer to REFRIGERANT LINES WITH INNER HEAT EXCHANGER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
