Battery With Visual Indicator, Checking

WARNING:

Perform Battery Checks in the Following Sequence:

-- Visual inspection. Refer to VISUAL INSPECTION .

-- Check the visual indicator: "3-color". Refer to 3-COLOR VISUAL INDICATOR, CHECKING ; or "2-color". Refer to "2 Color" VISUAL INDICATOR, CHECKING .

WARNING:

Do not check or charge batteries that have a visual indicator that is bright yellow. Jump starting must not be used!

There is a risk of explosion during testing, charging or jump starting.

These batteries must be replaced.

-- Check the battery using the Battery Tester :VAS6161  . Refer to Battery Tester .

-- Depending on the battery test result, "perform a current draw test". Refer to CURRENT DRAW TEST .
