Component Location Overview - Electrical Components

  1. Valve Body
    • Component location. Refer to Fig 2.
    • Removing and installing. Refer to VALVE BODY .
  2. Transmission Control Module -J217-
  3. Engine Control Module
    • The control module sends and receives data from the Data BUS
    • Component location and removing and installing. Refer to ENGINE CONTROL MODULE .
  4. Multifunction Transmission Range Switch -F125-
  5. Wiring Harness for Sensor and Solenoid Valves
  6. Transmission Fluid Temperature Sensor -G93-
    • Component location. Refer to Fig 3.
  7. Transmission Output Speed Sensor -G195-
  8. Transmission Input Speed Sensor -G182-
  9. Selector Mechanism
  10. Transmission Range Display -Y6-
  11. Data Link Connector
    • Component location. Refer to Fig 5.

Multifunction Transmission Range Switch F125

Component location: The multifunction transmission range switch is located on the top side of the transmission.

Valve Body

Component location: the valve body is bolted onto the bottom of the transmission housing and is covered by the transmission fluid pan.

Wiring Harness for Sensor and Solenoid Valves

Component location: the wiring harness is secured to the valve body in the transmission.

Transmission Input Speed Sensor G182 and Transmission Output Speed Sensor G195

Component location: the sensors are installed behind the valve body in the transmission housing.

Data Link Connector

Component location: the data link connector -arrow- is located on the left under the driver side storage compartment
