Information Electronics Control Module 1 J794, Bracket, Removing And Installing: Removing

The Information Electronics Control Module 1 -J794- will be called bracket in the information that follows.

-- Remove the front passenger side footwell vent. Refer to FRONT PASSENGER SIDE FOOTWELL VENT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the front passenger side instrument panel cover. Refer to FRONT PASSENGER SIDE INSTRUMENT PANEL COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the bolts -2- and -3-.

-- Remove the brace -1-.

-- Remove the Information Electronics Control Module 1 -J794-. Refer to INFORMATION ELECTRONICS CONTROL MODULE 1 J794 .

-- Remove the Heating and Air Conditioning Control Module -J979-. Refer to HEATING AND AIR CONDITIONING CONTROL MODULE J979, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the Data Bus On Board Diagnostic Interface -J533-. Refer to DATA BUS ON BOARD DIAGNOSTIC INTERFACE J533, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Loosen the Control Module Cooling Fan -V274- and lay aside with the wires still connected. Refer to CONTROL MODULE COOLING FAN V274, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Pull out the bracket -1- in -direction of the arrow- and remove.
