Rear Side Window, Removing And Installing: Installing
Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:
Undamaged window glass
-- Refer to Undamaged Window Glass, Preparing for Installation .
New window glass
-- Refer to New Window Glass, Preparing for Installation .
Continuation for all vehicles
-- Refer to Body Flange, Preparing for Installation .
-- Refer to BONDED WINDOWS AND GLASS PANELS, INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS .
-- Refer to Minimum Curing Times for Bonded Windows .
-- Apply the window adhesive on the rear side window all around. Refer to BONDED GLASS PANELS, MATERIALS .
Dimensions for bead diameter:
- Height = 10 mm ± 1 mm
- Width = 6.5 mm ± 0.5 mm
-- Press the rear side window -1- with the clip on in the area of the C-pillar trim.
-- Guide the rear side window -1- in the -direction of arrow A- in the guide -3- and press it on.
-- Press the rear side window -1- with clips onto the C-pillar -arrow-.
Requirement
- If the rear side window -1- does not have clips, it must be aligned lengthwise at the edge of the side panel -2-.
-- Secure the rear side window -1- with commercially available adhesive tape.
-- Check the body gap dimensions using the Gauge - Gap Adjustment: 3371 . For this, pay attention to the BODY REAR
