Rear Window, Removing And Installing: Installing
Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:
Undamaged window glass
-- Refer to Undamaged Window Glass, Preparing for Installation .
New window glass
-- Refer to New Window Glass, Preparing for Installation .
Continuation for all vehicles
-- Refer to Body Flange, Preparing for Installation .
-- Refer to BONDED WINDOWS AND GLASS PANELS, INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS .
-- Refer to Minimum Curing Times for Bonded Windows .
-- Apply the window adhesive on the rear window all around. Refer to BONDED GLASS PANELS, MATERIALS .
Dimensions for bead diameter:
- Height = 10 mm ± 1 mm
- Width = 6.5 mm ± 0.5 mm
-- Guide the rear window -1- with distance to the body flange in the -direction of the arrow A- under the spoiler -2-.
-- Position the rear window -1- with the centering pins -3- in the -direction of the arrow B- on the rear lid -4-.
Requirement
- If the rear window does not have a centering pin, it must be secured so that it will not slip.
-- Check the body gap dimensions using the Gauge - Gap Adjustment: 3371 . For this, pay attention to the BODY REAR
