Rear Window, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:

Undamaged Window Glass

-- Refer to Undamaged Window Glass, Preparing for Installation  .

New Window Glass

-- Refer to New Window Glass, Preparing for Installation  .

Continuation for All Vehicles

-- Refer to Body Flange, Preparing for Installation  .

-- Refer to INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR BONDED WINDOWS  .

-- Refer to Minimum Curing Times for Bonded Windows  .

-- Apply the window adhesive on the rear window all around. Refer to the appropriate Service Information .

Dimensions for bead diameter:

• Height = 10 mm ± 1 mm
• Width = 6.5 mm ± 0.5 mm

-- Guide the rear window -1- with distance to the body flange in the direction of -arrow A- under the spoiler -2-.

-- Position the rear window -1- with the centering pins -3- in the direction of -arrow B- on the rear lid -4-.

Conditions

• If the rear window does not have a centering pin, it must be secured so that it will not slip.

-- Check the body gap dimensions using the Gauge - Gap Adjustment:3371  . For this, pay attention to the appropriate Service Information.
