If the Heating and Air Conditioning Control Module -J979- is being replaced:

-- Perform the "Control module, replacing" function using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester . Refer to Diagnostic Entries .

-- Remove the glove compartment lid. Refer to GLOVE COMPARTMENT LID, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Disconnect the connectors -3-.
