Control Arm Stone Chip Protection, Removing And Installing: Removing

The following information describes the removing and installing on the left side of the vehicle as an example.

Press the Expanding Rivets with the Pins Inward

-- Press the pins -arrow- inward into all expanding rivets -2-.

-- Pry out the expanding rivets with a commercially available plastic wedge and remove the stone chip protection for the front control arm -1-.

-- Remove the pin -arrow- from above on the control arm.

Remove the Expanding Rivets with the Pins

-- Remove the pins -arrow- from all expanding rivets -2-.

-- Pry out the expanding rivets with a commercially available plastic wedge and remove the stone chip protection for the control arm -1-.
