Radiator Module, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the front underbody trim panel. Refer to FRONT UNDERBODY TRIM PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Performing impact member service position. Refer to BUMPER CARRIER SERVICE POSITION, SETTING AND RESETTING .

CAUTION:

There is a risk of injury if the radiator fan turns on by itself.

- When performing procedures near the radiator maintain a distance to the radiator.

- Do not reach into the radiator fan when disconnecting the connector.

-- Disconnect the connector for the Radiator Fan -VX57- -arrow-.

-- Refer to Coolant, Draining  .

-- Pull the clamp -arrow- out and remove the coolant hose -1- from the lower left from the radiator.

-- Pull the clamp -arrow- out and remove the right upper coolant hose from the radiator.

-- Disconnect the refrigerant lines from the condenser/gas cooler. Refer to REFRIGERANT LINES FOR CONDENSER/GAS COOLER, DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING, R1234YF or REFRIGERANT LINES FOR CONDENSER/GAS COOLER, DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING, R744 .

-- Pull out the lower, left and right, radiator mount locking mechanisms -arrow- from the holding plates -1- and then remove the holding plates.

Condition

-- Lift the radiator module out of the radiator mounts.
