Outer Window Shaft Strip, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:

-- Center the outer window shaft strip -1- in the -direction of arrow A- on the door flange -2- and align it to the B-pillar -3-.

Requirement

CAUTION:

There is a risk of damaging the outer window shaft strip if installation is done incorrectly.

If the metal insert in the outer window shaft strip is bent the outer window shaft strip can no longer be bent straight.

- Attach the outer window shaft strip evenly and without bending.

-- Beginning at the B-pillar -3-, install the outer window shaft strip -1- by hand evenly on the door flange -2- in the -direction of arrow B-.
