Transmission Fluid Pan, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:
- Always replace the transmission fluid pan, the bolts of the transmission fluid pan and the clamp.
- Check the O-ring -arrow- on the connector for the Dual-Clutch Transmission Mechatronic -J743- for damage. Replace a faulty O-ring.
- So that the >>new<< O-ring is not damaged on the contours when positing, tape off off the connector of the mechatronic with cloth tape beforehand.
-- Position the O-ring -arrow-.
-- Coat the O-ring with DSG transmission fluid.
-- Remove the remaining cloth tape. There may be no residue present in the seal area.
-- Clean the sealing surface on the transmission housing of oil and grease.
-- Position the new oil pan -2- and tighten the new bolts -1- diagonally in multiple steps.
- When positioning the oil pan, make sure the electrical wires are not pinched.
-- Install the new clamp -3-.
- The offset side of the clamp points to the transmission.
-- Attach and lock the mechatronic connector on the transmission.
-- Fill the transmission oil and check the oil level. Refer to TRANSMISSION FLUID .
