Panorama Sliding Sunroof: Notes

NOTE:

The new special lubricant -G 060 567- is colorless and hard to see.

Using the new special lubricant results in a new procedure within the service procedure.

Using the new special lubricant, only a noise and function test will be performed.

Cleaning and greasing the guide rails is a repair procedure.

The application of the lubricant or grease with a spray can and a long capillary tube is more advantageous than a brush.

Special tools and workshop equipment required

Special Lubricant G 060 567 A2 (spray can and a long capillary tube)
Industrial vacuum cleaner
Lint-free cloths
Commercially available brush: approximately 15 mm wide and angled with workshop tools to approximately 40°

CAUTION:

Risk of damaging the roof insert by releasing the guide rail locking piece.

- Do not clean or lubricate the guide rail.

If the locking piece on the rail -image- should get detached while cleaning or lubricating, do not operate the Panorama sliding sunroof!
