Component Location Overview - Components Outside Of Vehicle Interior

The following information refers to LHD vehicles. Information for RHD vehicles is the same.

NOTE:

For A/C systems with refrigerant R1234yf, the desiccant bag/dryer cartridge must be replaced each time the refrigerant circuit is opened. Refer to COMPONENTS, REPLACING .

Under certain conditions, the desiccant bag no longer needs to be replaced each time the refrigerant circuit is opened on A/C systems with refrigerant R134a. Refer to the appropriate service information .

  1. Vehicle Interior Forced Air Extraction
  2. Vehicle Interior Forced Air Extraction
  3. Desiccant Bag/Dryer Cartridge
  4. Condenser
    • With integrated receiver/dryer
    • Overview. Refer to OVERVIEW - CONDENSER .
    • Removing and Installing. Refer to CONDENSER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
      NOTE:

      Under certain conditions, the receiver/dryer and the desiccant bag does not need to be replaced each time the refrigerant circuit is opened. Refer to Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning; Refrigerant R134a Servicing in the appropriate service information .

  6. A/C Compressor
  7. Evacuating and Charging Valve, High-Pressure Side
  8. Refrigerant Circuit Pressure Sensor -G805-
  9. Evacuating and Charging Valve, Low Pressure Side
  10. Refrigerant Line
    • To the rear heater and A/C unit
  11. Fresh Air Intake
  12. Expansion Valve
  13. Fresh Air Intake Cover
