Engine, Securing To Engine And Transmission Holder

Special tools and workshop equipment required 

Secure the engine to the :VAS6095A  when working on the engine.

When a repair is to be performed on the chain drive use the :3269  .

Procedure

-- Remove the transmission. Refer to ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION, SEPARATING .

-- Engage the :3033  as follows and lift out of the engine using :VAS6100  from :VAG1383A  .

Vibration damper side: item 3.

Drive plate side: item 11.

When Using the :VAS6095A  with the Universal Mounts:

-- Secure the engine to the :VAS6095A  as shown.

When Using the :3269  :

-- Tighten the :3269  as shown on the cylinder block.
