ATF Lines Complete With Adapter, Removing And Installing
Special tools and workshop equipment required
- Engine Bung Set: VAS6122
- Shop Crane - Drip Tray: VAS6208
Removing
-- Lift the vehicle, all four mounts from lifting platform at the same height.
-- Move the selector lever to >>P<<.
-- Remove the noise insulation. Refer to OVERVIEW - NOISE INSULATION .
-- Remove the air filter housing. Refer to AIR FILTER HOUSING, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Remove the front bumper. Refer to BUMPER COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Remove the radiator shutter. Refer to OVERVIEW - FAN SHROUD AND RADIATOR FAN .
-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and the ATF lines -1- from the thermostat -2- and ATF cooler -3-.
-- Seal the connections on the radiator and thermostat with suitable plugs taken from the : VAS6122 .
Install in reverse order of removal while noting the following:
-- Always replace the O-rings -arrow-.
-- Install the ATF lines -1- with new O-rings -arrows-.
-- Install the radiator shutter. Refer to OVERVIEW - FAN SHROUD AND RADIATOR FAN .
-- Install the front bumper. Refer to BUMPER COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Install the air filter housing. Refer to AIR FILTER HOUSING, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Bleed the ATF circuit. Refer to ATF CIRCUIT, BLEEDING .
Tightening Specifications
