Spark Plugs, Replacing, 3.6L FSI Engine: Installing

NOTE:

Lubricate the ignition coils with power output stage with Silicone Grease whenever installing new spark plugs. Refer to the parts information.

The correct silicone paste is shown on the parts information with the ignition coils and/or the spark plugs.

-- Apply a thin bead of Silicone Grease all around the sealing hose on the ignition coil with power output stage -arrow-.

-- Screw in new spark plugs using :VAS3122 B and tighten to the tightening specification. Refer to Tightening Specification 3.6L FSI Engine .

NOTE:

Please follow all waste disposal regulations!

-- Press the ignition coils with power output stages onto spark plugs.

-- Slide the connector onto ignition coils with power output stages until it engages audibly.
