Transmission Control Module, Removing And Installing

Component location: the Transmission Control Module - J217- is located in the left front wheel housing.

Removing 

-- To remove and install, the left front wheel housing liner must be removed. Refer to FRONT WHEEL HOUSING LINER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Push the tabs - arrow- to the left in direction of - arrow- and remove the control module from the bracket.

-- Release the connector and remove it from the control module.

Installing 

-- Connect the connector to the control module and lock it.

-- Insert the control module into the tabs on the bracket - arrows- and lock on the retaining tab.

-- Install the wheel housing liner. Refer to FRONT WHEEL HOUSING LINER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
