Anti-Theft Component Protection

When replacing radio or radio navigation system control modules, it is necessary to adapt the replaced control modules to the vehicle. If this is not performed, component protection is activated for these control modules so that they do not work or only on a highly limited basis.
Adapt Control Modules:
In the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester select "Guided Fault Finding" .
Or
On the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester, select "Guided Fault Finding" .
After all control modules have been checked:
-- Press the "Go to" button.
-- Select "Functions/Component selection".
-- Select "Body".
-- Select "Electrical Equipment".
-- Select "01-OBD-capable system".
-- Select "component protection functions".
