Normal Operation and Fault Conditions
When the ignition is set to RUN, the ABS module and the Body Control Module (BCM) share VIN information over the HS-CAN.
DTC Fault Trigger Conditions
| DTC | Description | Fault Trigger Conditions |

| B2900 | VIN Mismatch | This DTC sets in the ignition cycle if the VIN information stored in the ABS module does not match the information transmitted by the BCM. DTCs set in the ignition cycle can only be cleared by cycling the ignition off and on once the fault has been corrected. |
