Led Headlamp With Adaptive Front Lighting System, Adjusting

NOTE:

Adjusting the headlamps is invoiced separately.

A vehicle with LED headlamps and adaptive front lighting system can be identified with the PR. number 8IU and 8IX.

-- Headlamp range control, performing basic setting using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.

Left Headlamp, Adjusting:

-- Turn the height adjustment adjusting screw - 1- until the correct setting is achieved.

-- Turn the lateral adjustment adjusting screw - 2- until the correct setting is achieved. The side adjustment is sealed for SAE headlamps.

Left Headlamp, Re-Checking

CAUTION:

Re-checking the headlamp is performed using the low beam test diagram.

The headlamp cannot be adjusted laterally butting the check. Adjusting the height is permissible.

-- Check the headlamp adjustment.

-- If necessary, adjust the headlamp height adjustment.

NOTE:

Adjusting the right headlamp is identical and in the same sequence.

Adjustment screws for right headlamp are arranged symmetrically.
