Overview - A/C Compressor Power Unit
NOTE:
For A/C systems with refrigerant R1234yf, the desiccant bag/dryer cartridge must be replaced each time the refrigerant circuit is opened. Refer to COMPONENTS, REPLACING .
Under certain conditions, the desiccant bag no longer needs to be replaced each time the refrigerant circuit is opened on A/C systems with refrigerant R134a. Refer to Components, Replacing .

- Removing from and attaching to the bracket. Refer to A/C COMPRESSOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING ON BRACKET .
- Seal
- Replace after removing.

- Coat with refrigerant oil before installing.
- High Pressure Side Refrigerant Line

- Replace after removing.

- Coat with refrigerant oil before installing.
- Pressure Relief Valve
- Checking. Refer to Vehicle Diagnostic Tester. Refer to PRESSURE RELIEF VALVE ON A/C COMPRESSOR, CHECKING .
- A/C Compressor Regulator Valve -N280-
- To check. Refer to Vehicle Diagnostic Tester in the "Guided Fault Finding" function. Refer to => Wiring Diagram.

- Oil Drain Plug
- Denso A/C compressor 30 Nm
- Mahle/Delphi A/C compressor 20 ± 1 Nm
- Sanden A/C compressor 15 ± 1 Nm
- Replace the oil drain plug/seal after removal
- Only remove on an empty refrigerant circuit.
