Replace the O-rings, seals and gaskets.
After removing gaskets and seals, always inspect the contact surfaces on the housing or shaft for burrs or damage resulting from removal.
Before installing the seals, lightly oil the outer diameter and fill the space between the sealing lips -arrow- halfway with Sealing Grease:G 052 128 A1 .
The open side of the gaskets point toward the fluid to be sealed in.
Only use DSG^® transmission fluid. Other lubricants cause malfunctions.
Coat the O-rings with DSG^® transmission fluid before inserting to prevent the rings from being crushed during assembly.
After replacing seals, O-rings and gaskets, check the transmission fluid level and fill if necessary. Refer to TRANSMISSION FLUID .
