Transmission Tightening Specifications

  • Using the Insert Tool - 18mm T10179 or T10509: >>65 Nm<<
3 M12x65 with nut 80

A 2) Alignment sleeves for centering
  • 1) does not apply to 2.0L engine.
  • 2) alignment sleeves for the 2.0L engine are located at items 3 and 8.
Component Tightening Specifications
Subframe mount to transmission (replace the bolts after removal) 60 Nm + 90° additional turn
Ground cable to subframe mount 25 Nm
Drive plate to torque converter 57
Right drive axle heat shield to bevel box 20 Nm
Driveshaft to bevel box Refer to the appropriate Service Information .
Bevel box to transmission
  • Replace the bolts after removing them.
 40 Nm + 90° additional turn
