Removal And Installation

Driver seat shown, passenger seat similar.
All seats
- 1.
Remove the front seat. Refer to Seat - Front .
Seats with manual lumbar
- 4.
Remove the recliner handle.- 1.
Position the recliner handle upward.
- 2.
Remove the screw.
- 3.
Release the locking tab.
- 1.
- 6.NOTE: Side shield cover with a seat control switch, manual lumbar and recliner shown, others similar.
Remove the side shield cover.
- 1.
Pull forward on the front of the side shield cover to release the front retainers.
- 2.
Pull outward on the side shield cover to release the side retainers.
- 3.
Pull forward to release the cushion side shield rear guides.
- 4.
If equipped, disconnect the electrical connector(s).
- 1.
- 7.NOTE: For installation, hook the seat cushion cover flap at the rear outboard corner to the cushion side shield.
Remove the cushion side shield.
- 1.
Remove the screws.
- 2.
Release the pin-type retainer from the seat track.
- 3.
Release the seat cushion cover from the cushion side shield.
- 1.
- 8.NOTE: Note cable routing for correct installation.
Remove the manual lumbar actuator.
- 1.
Remove the screws and position lumbar actuator aside.
- 2.
Detach and route out the lumbar cable from the seat track.

All seats
- 9.
Remove the seat backrest cover. Refer to Seat Backrest Cover - Front .
- 12.NOTE: Power lumbar assembly shown, manual lumbar similar.
Remove the bolts and lumbar assembly.
- To install, tighten to 7 Nm (62 lb-in).
