Battery Jump Start Terminal, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Turn off the ignition and all electric consumers and turn the key to the 0 position.

-- Disconnect the battery. Refer to BATTERY, DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING .

NOTE:

The air filter housing is removed for better illustration. This is not required when doing repairs.

-- Open the clip -arrow A- and open the cover -1- over the positive terminal grip.

-- Release the cover -2- over the wires and open in the direction of the -arrow B-.

-- Remove the nuts -5- and -6-, and disconnect the positive cables from the threaded connectors.

-- Disconnect the connector -1- from the suppressor -4-.

-- Remove the bolt -3- and the positive terminal grip -2- with the suppressor from the holder.
