4.1 Driver Assistance Systems Front Camera, Removing and Installing

Removing 

• Turn off the ignition and all electrical equipment.
• Remove the ignition key, if equipped.
• Remove the mirror base cover. Refer to Body Interior; Interior Rearview Mirror; Overview - Interior Rearview Mirror.
• Unclip the Driver Assistance Systems Front Camera - R242- -2- from the retainers -1- in direction of -arrow A-.
• Remove the Driver Assistance Systems Front Camera - R242- -1- from the holder in direction of -arrow B-.
• Release and disconnect the connector -3-.

Installing 

Install in reverse order of removal and note the following:

• Calibrate the Driver Assistance Systems Front Camera -R242-. Refer to Driver Assistance Systems Front Camera, Calibrating.
