Windshield, Removing And Installing: Installing
As an original equipment part, the windshield is delivered with the spacers.
The spacers -1- remain installed in vehicles without a panorama sliding sunroof.
The seal -4- must be installed in vehicles with a panorama sliding sunroof.
-- Remove the spacers -1- with the seal.
-- Bond the seal -4- on the edge of the windshield.
-- For vehicles with a Driver Assistance Systems Front Camera -R242-, install the front camera (refer to DRIVER ASSISTANCE SYSTEMS FRONT CAMERA, REMOVING AND INSTALLING ) and calibrate the front camera (refer to DRIVER ASSISTANCE SYSTEMS FRONT CAMERA CALIBRATION .
-- Prepare the undamaged window for glazing. Refer to UNDAMAGED WINDOW GLASS, PREPARING FOR INSTALLATION .
-- Prepare the new window glass for glazing. Refer to NEW WINDOW GLASS, PREPARING FOR INSTALLATION .
-- Prepare the body flange for glazing. Refer to BODY FLANGE, PREPARING FOR INSTALLATION .
-- Installation Instructions. Refer to INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR BONDED WINDOWS .
-- Minimum Curing Time. Refer to MINIMUM CURING TIMES FOR BONDED WINDOWS .
