ATF Cooler, Removing And Installing, Rectangular Version: Removing
-- Move the selector lever to >>P<<.
-- Remove the engine cover. Refer to ENGINE COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING (CPLA, CPPA, CPKA, CPRA) or ENGINE COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING (DDSA, DDSB) .
-- Remove the air filter housing. Refer to AIR FILTER HOUSING, REMOVING AND INSTALLING (CPLA, CPPA, CPKA, CPRA) or AIR FILTER HOUSING, REMOVING AND INSTALLING (DDSA, DDSB)
-- Remove the air duct hose above the ATF cooler. Refer to OVERVIEW - AIR FILTER HOUSING (CPLA, CPPA, CPKA, CPRA) or OVERVIEW - AIR FILTER HOUSING (DDSA, DDSB) .
-- Remove the battery. Refer to BATTERY, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Remove the battery tray. Refer to BATTERY TRAY, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Disengage the selector lever cable at the clips -arrows-.
Mark the ATF cooler coolant hoses to prevent confusing them when installing them later.
The cooling system is under pressure when the engine is warm.
Cover the cap on the coolant expansion tank with a cloth and open it carefully before removing the coolant hoses.
-- Clamp the coolant hoses with : 3094 and remove them from the ATF cooler.
-- Seal the coolant hoses and connections using suitable plugs from the : VAS6122 .
-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and remove the ATF cooler.
