Removal And Installation

- 1.NOTE: If installing a new module, it is necessary to upload the module configuration information to the scan tool prior to removing the module. This information must be downloaded into the new module after installation.
Using a diagnostic scan tool, begin the Programmable Module Installation(PMI) process for theDigital Signal Processing(DSP) following the on-screen instructions.

Remove the Audio Front Control Module(ACM). Refer to Audio Control Module (ACM) .
- 3.
Remove the front floor console. Refer to, Instrument Panel and Console .
- 4.NOTE: The audio Digital Signal Processing(DSP) module is heavy. Be sure to support the amplifier during removal, or damage to the vehicle may occur.
Remove the 4 audio DSP module nuts.
- Disconnect the electrical connector(s).
- To install, tighten to 7 Nm (62 lb-in).
