Transmission Mount, Removing

Special tools and workshop equipment required

-- Read and follow the High-Voltage Vehicle Electrical System General Warnings. Refer to SAFETY PRECAUTIONS .

-- Pay attention to the High-Voltage System Danger Classification. Refer to HIGH-VOLTAGE SYSTEM DANGER CLASSIFICATION .

CAUTION:

Extremely dangerous due to high-voltage.

Electrocution can cause death or severe bodily injury.

- Have the high-voltage system de-energized by qualified personnel.

-- Disable the high-voltage system. Refer to HIGH-VOLTAGE SYSTEM, DE-ENERGIZING .

-- Remove the Electric Drive Power and Control Electronics -JX1-. Refer to Electric Drive Power and Control Electronics -JX1-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the pendulum support. Refer to PENDULUM SUPPORT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Secure the : VAS6931 under the Three-Phrase Current Drive - VX54-. Refer to Three-Phrase Current Drive -VX54- CROSSMEMBER, REMOVING .

-- Remove the bolts -1 and 2- from above using the : VAS5085 (the illustration shows a different ladder).
