Adaptive Cruise Control, Calibrating

Conditions

-- The Distance Regulation Control Module -J428- must be calibrated during the following conditions:

NOTE:

To great of a horizontal adjustment of the Distance Regulation Control Module -J428- causes the function of the ACC/Front Assist to stay switched off. This adjustment be shown through the following message in the Instrument Cluster -KX2- : ACC/Front Assist not available  .

Restricted sensor view from a dirty sensor or inclement weather conditions for example, heavy rain, snowfall, iced over sensor etc. creates a temporary unavailability of the ACC/Front Assist functions. This can show through the following message in the Instrument Cluster -KX2- : ACC/Front Assist no sensor view  .
