Memory Seat/Steering Column Adjustment Control Module Bracket, Removing And Installing: Removing

Before handling pyrotechnic components (for example, disconnecting the connector), the person handling it must "discharge static electricity". This can be done by touching the door striker, for example.

-- Remove the memory seat adjustment/steering column adjustment control module. Refer to MEMORY SEAT/STEERING COLUMN ADJUSTMENT CONTROL MODULE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Press the pin -2- toward the upholster and out of the clip -arrow A- on the bracket -1-, for example using an upholstery needle.

-- Remove the pin from the seat.

-- Remove the bracket support foot -2- from the upper seat frame.

-- Remove the clip -arrow A- on the upper seat frame -1-.

-- Disengage the retaining tabs -arrow B- (quantity: 2).

-- Carefully remove the bracket from the lower seat frame in the -direction of the arrow-.

-- Remove the bracket from the seat pan.
