Engine Mount, Removing And Installing: Removing
-- Support the engine in its installed position, refer to ENGINE, SUPPORTING IN INSTALLED POSITION .
-- Remove the affected front wheel housing liner completely, refer to Wheel Housing Liner .
Right Engine Mount:
-- Remove the generator, refer to Generator .
Left Engine Mount:
-- Remove the oil cooler, refer to ENGINE OIL COOLER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Remove the ribbed belt from the A/C compressor, refer to RIBBED BELT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, RIBBED BELT FOR AUXILIARY COMPONENTS .
-- Remove the Air Conditioning (A/C) compressor, refer to Air Conditioning (A/C) Compressor .
-- Remove the subframe crossbrace, refer to Subframe .
The suspension components could be damaged.
- Do not rest the vehicle on its wheels if the subframe mount, the steering gear or the subframe crossbrace are not installed correctly.
-- Remove the left subframe bolt -2-.
The left subframe bolts -1, 3- and all of the right subframe bolts remain installed.
-- Remove the nut -1- and free up the hydraulic hose bracket.
Continued for Both Sides:
-- Disconnect the connector -3- from the Left Electrohydraulic Engine Mount Solenoid Valve -N144- / Right Electrohydraulic Engine Mount Solenoid Valve -N145-.
-- Remove the bolts -2-.
-- Remove the bolts -1 and 2- and move the retaining plate to the side.
-- Remove the engine mount.
