Fuel Tank Leak Detection Control Module -J909-, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Follow the rules for clean working conditions, refer to CLEAN WORKING CONDITIONS .

CAUTION:

Risk of damaging electronic components when disconnecting the battery.

  • Observe the steps for disconnecting the battery.

-- Disconnect the battery Ground (GND) cable -2-, refer to BATTERY .

-- Remove the right rear underbody panels, refer to UNDERBODY PANEL .

-- Release the connector safety catch and disconnect the connector -1-.

-- Remove the nuts -2- and remove the Fuel Tank Leak Detection Control Module -J909- -3- downward.
