CAUTION:
- Disconnect battery ground wire before working on electrical system.
- On vehicles with Telematics, activate Telephone/Telematics Control Module J526 service mode before disconnecting Battery A → Service mode, activating/deactivating .
If the Battery A is reconnected, follow the procedure for disconnecting and connecting the Battery A → - 27 BATTERY, STARTER, GENERATOR, CRUISE CONTROL . Deactivate Telephone/Telematics Control Module J526 service mode → Service mode, activating/deactivating .
Description
The telephone and Telematics system are operated acoustically with the voice control system.
Telephone and Telematics functions be initiated easily by speaking commands. System is activated via the PTT button in the multi-function steering wheel.
Diagnosis is performed using "Guided Fault-Finding".
Repair to CAN bus lines → - 97 WIRING .
