Overview - Ignition System

Bolt
- 9 Nm
Camshaft Position Sensor -G40-
- Removing and installing. Refer to CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR - G40- AND - G163-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
O-Ring
- Always replace
Knock Sensor
- Knock Sensor 1 -G61- (right), Knock Sensor 2 -G66- (left)
- Removing and installing. Refer to KNOCK SENSOR 1 AND 2 - G61- AND - G66-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
Bolt
- 20 Nm
Spark Plug
- 30 Nm
- Type and Electrode Gap. Refer to TEST DATA AND SPARK PLUGS .
- Remove and install with Spark Plug Removal Tool :3122B
Ignition Coil
- Removing and installing. Refer to Ignition Coils with Power Output Stages --, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
Bolt
- 5 Nm
Wiring Harness
Engine Speed Sensor -G28-
- Removing and installing. Refer to Engine Speed Sensor -G28-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
Bolt
- 9 Nm
O-Ring
- Always replace
Camshaft Position Sensor 2 -G163-
- Removing and installing. Refer to CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR - G40- AND - G163-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
