Engine, Supporting In Installed Position: Notes

Engine Support Bridge:10-222A
Engine Support - Basic Set:T40091
Engine Support - Supplement Kit:T40093A with Engine Support Brackets:T40093/7 , and Engine Support Brackets:T40093/8

Procedure

WARNING:

Risk of accident due to shifting the engine weight.

The transmission and tunnel crossmember must be installed for the following support method.

-- Remove the engine cover. Refer to ENGINE COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the left and right upper longitudinal member -2-. Refer to LOCK CARRIER .

-- Mount the :10-222A with the :T40091/4 ,:T40091/5 , :T40093/7 and:T40093/8 on the left and right suspension strut towers as illustrated.

-- Attach the :10-222A/11 to the engine lifting eyes and pre-tension the engine slightly.
