Camshaft Position Sensor, Removing And Installing: Removing

NOTE:

Install all cable ties and heat shield boots back in the same location when installing.

Camshaft Position Sensor -G40- /Camshaft Position Sensor 2 -G163- :

-- Remove all of the connectors from the bracket.

-- Remove the nuts -arrows- and remove the connector bracket from the plenum chamber bulkhead.

-- Remove the affected secondary air injection hose -2- by pressing the release buttons.

NOTE:

Ignore -1-.

-- Disconnect the connector -1-.

-- Remove the bolt -2- and the affected camshaft position sensor.

Camshaft Position Sensor 3 -G300- /Camshaft Position Sensor 4 -G301- :

-- Remove the plenum chamber bulkhead. Refer to BULKHEAD .

-- Remove the heat shield boot -1- by cutting the cable ties.

-- Disconnect the connector -2-.

-- Remove the bolt -3- and the affected camshaft position sensor.
