ATF Lines, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. At the same time pay attention to the following:

CAUTION:

Danger of causing damage to the transmission.

Remove all the plugs on the ATF lines and on the transmission that were installed during removal.
The ATF cooling function will not work and the transmission will be damaged if the plugs are forgotten.

-- Install the ATF lines all the way and then the clips -1 and 4-.

-- Re-tighten the bolts -arrows- to the tightening specification.

Install in reverse order of removal. At the same time pay attention to the following:

CAUTION:

Danger of causing damage to the transmission.

Remove all the plugs on the ATF lines and on the transmission that were installed during removal.
The ATF cooling function will not work and the transmission will be damaged if the plugs are forgotten.

-- Lightly coat the ATF supports with ATF.

-- Insert the ATF line -1- all the way on the ATF supports until the catches are released.

-- In this position push down the quick-release coupling clip.

Vehicles with Metal ATF Lines

-- Re-tighten the bolts -arrows- to the tightening specification.

Vehicles with Plastic ATF Lines

-- Align the ATF lines and position the pronged ring -arrow- in the transmission depression.

-- Re-tighten the bolt -1- to the tightening specification.
