Preparations For Compressor And Pressure Line Leak Check: Notes

Special Tools And Workshop Equipment Required 

NOTE:

When an appropriate entry is made in the event memory, you are prompted in "Guided Fault Finding" to perform a leak check, refer to Vehicle Diagnosis Tester.

Then the preparations for this leak test are described that must be carried out directly in the rear seat.

For the connection diagram with assignment of the pneumatic lines to the air cushions, refer to CONNECTION DIAGRAM - PNEUMATIC SYSTEM .

The external check valve -1- is discontinued as of June 2010. Since then it is located inside the control modules for the multicontour seat. To find out if the control module has the check valve or not, refer to the Parts Information.

Remove the separate check valve if installing a multicontour seat control module that contains an integrated check valve, refer to the Parts Information.
